Member Classes
Our strength and mobility classes focus on building your physical resilience and capacity for life outside the gym. Improving strength increases your body's ability to generate force and handle load while mobility reduces injury risk. Together, these increase your movement literacy, joint integrity and total range of motion. Most importantly, a good foundation in both reduces your chances of injury and pain.
Strength

Traditional Strength Training
Compound exercises reflect the movements we make in everyday life. At ROME it's not about fancy variations or fast-paced circuits. It's about dialling in and perfecting your technique in the basics. Once you're feeling safe, secure and strong, it's time to progressively overload.
Our strength classes are split into upper body, lower body and full body, so you can decide whether you want to double down on your favourite areas or keep up with full body development. We program 8-week strength cycles around different focus points, but you can join at any time. Our programs are smooth and scalable to ensure beginners and seasoned weightlifters can both get an effective workout in the same class.
Mobility

Functional Mobility Training
You can't reap the rewards of strength training if you're too injured to perform strength training. Mobility training at ROME encompasses a hand-selected library of prehab, physiotherapy and flexibility exercises, all aimed at improving joint functionality, reducing pain, and increasing range of motion.
Every mobility class is full body, as you're only as strong as your weakest link. Mobility runs in 5-week focus cycles, where a particular joint, position or movement is emphasised. Much like strength training, scalability in our classes is paramount, so it's easy for you to step into a class at any point.
If You Need a More Focused Session
Personal Training

Our classes are designed to feel like personal training. However, if you would like one-on-one coaching, we offer fully private personal training sessions.
Here we can take the time to go through specific goals and set up action plans to set you on the right path. We can also provide more targeted strength and mobility assessments to see exactly what level you're at and what you need to focus on. Or if you're simply not yet confident in a class environment, we can help you build up to this at whatever pace suits you.
